Ystaas, Torunn
Torunn Ystaas (b. 1943) studied the art of stage direction in New York, making her debut with a play she had written herself. The author of many articles on literature and the theatre, she has also written poems and a book on Agnar Mykle, a controversial Norwegian writer of the fifties and sixties. Her oeuvre also includes a children's book, several plays and four novels.
