Kirsebom, Vendela

Supermodel Vendela Kirsebom has been a force to be reckoned with in the fashion industry for over 20 years. After her career began at the early age of 18 in Stockholm, she signed with well-known Ford Agency in New York and moved to the Big Apple, where she began her career in the glamorous world of fashion. She went on to signing big contracts – Elizabeth Arden, Revlon, L’Oreal, Victorias Secret, H&M, Garniere and Pepsi Co, to mention a few. She graced the covers of many magazines and soon became the favourite of many designers.

Karl Lagerfeld has compared her to Grace Kelly, and she has also been seen in numerous TV-shows and movies. After many years of living in Manhattan, she moved to Norway where she has continued working internationally, having the world as her workplace.

She is now proudly introducing the Vendela Eyewear Collection. The launch took place in June 2007, and the collection will be seen exclusively in Synsam stores in the Nordic countries.

She has graced the covers of over 300 magazines worldwide, including Elle, Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, Town & Country, Tatler, FHM, New York Magazine, not to forget the cover of Sports Illustrated, which made her a household name overnight.

Vendela has worked as a Goodwill Ambassador for UNICEF since 1996.

In 2007 she has been working on Vendela Eyewear Collection, hosting the Norwegian and Swedish «Top Model», writing «Vendela’s Beauty Bible» and she also hosted «Designerspirene», the Norwegian version of «Project Runway».
