Spange, Inger Marie
As an active mountain climber, Inger Marie Spange has scaled HuascarĂ¡n, the second-highest mountain in South America. She has been involved with horses, yachting and motorcycling, and her paintings have been presented at several exhibitions. She has had a variety of jobs within the newspaper, weekly magazine and advertising industries. Her first book was a personal account of a tragic accident that only one of her two twin sons survived.
Inger Marie Spange is at present studying interaction design alongside her full-time job as head of a design agency. In addition to this, she is busy writing a follow-up to Grand Marine and plans to write further stories about Ulla Grande and her family.
