Eriksen, Trond Berg
Professor of the History of Ideas at the University of Oslo, Trond Berg Eriksen (b 1945) has published a number of books on philosophy and his specialist subject, the history of ideas, as well as on the history of Norwegian non-fiction.
Trond Berg Eriksen was Jostein Gaarder's philosophy teacher. Over the years he has become known as one of Norway's foremost mediators of European intellectual history.
