Dirty Money

Godø, Michael: Skitne Penger

It is the best spring in Oslo in ages. Dry and hot. Pay-back time.

Finn Grua is an enterprising billionaire, gourmet and style-minded philanthropist with a taste for American muscle cars. Oslo would be a poorer city without Finn Grua.

Kenneth, a resourceful but less successful entrepreneur, owes Grua money and feels cheated. Marianne is a lawyer who has been fired from Grua Ltd. because of a horny boss. Bendik, an ambitious finance journalist, is preparing a portrait interview with Grua, and he’s digging up dirt.

Three ex-soldiers are planning an armed robbery. Expected booty: twenty million Norwegian kroner in drug-money, ready to be laundered. Kenneth learns about the robbery. He has an idea.

Mikael Godø is a journalist and movie reviewer in Dagbladet newspaper. Godø made his literary debut in 2002 with Gallery Oslo. Dirty Money is his first crime novel.
