Hilke, the protagonist from Night Dive, visits the island where she grew up and finds it less peaceful than expected. The entire population organises a protest against a NATO-plant which will make the island a first class bombing target. One day as Hilke is diving with her boyfriend Vidar, she spots another and more sinister onlooker. All of a sudden, the small island community finds itself at the centre of a game controlled by the superpowers - and the question becomes how to preserve love, belonging and the local community in a world on the edge of war. Some react with violence, others with paralysis. And the understanding between Hilke and Vidar, can it survive?
