Lin's Book
Bøge, Kari: Lins bok
Lin's keen eye for detail and causal links has earned her recognition as a ceramist. But aesthetic faculties have their price, and she pays dearly as she strives to strike a balance between the public image to which she aspires and the person she really is. Simon, her live-in partner, is a lecturer on cinematic art, and through him she learns still more subtle means of presenting herself.
Something isn't quite right, however, though she is unable to decide exactly what it is - until she is put on what she thinks is the right track by a series of chance happenings. Everything revolves around her relationship with Simon and her former friend Viviann. This brings her to a turning-point far removed from that she had envisaged.
Lin’s Book is an indirect sequel to Kari Bøge’s earlier books about Viviann.
