The Night Radio

Brottveit, Kjetil: Nattradioen

Kari works at The Night Radio in Trondheim. Roar is a substitute teacher in the same city. Roar is trying to bring some direction to his life; he wants progress in his thoughts. In The Night Radio we accompany Kari and Roar in separate chapters. Sooner or later they will meet, but we do not know how it will happen, nor do we know what significance that meeting will turn out to have for them. In this fine-tuned, quiet and humorous novel the author plays with all the small and big things which influence the everyday lives of “young adults”: Christmas celebrations, skiing trips, train journeys and Friday afternoon beers. Saying Tuesdee or Tuesday, crying at work. And listening to The Night Radio.
