The Little Girl

Osmundsen, Mari: Jentungen

The Little Girl gives a voice to Veslemøy, who has been left at her uncle’s place on a small island off the coast while her father is on a business trip. At the aunt’s and uncle’s there is going to be a big party, and Veslemøy experience very special incidents this night. Mari Osmundsen combines sharp social satire with elements from Greek Mythology as Veslemøy’s destiny can be interpreted as a variation of the Persephon Myth.
