The Emissary

Rotmo, Hans: Sendebudet

This is a light-hearted, off-beat satire. The protagonist, young Winston Gran, conceives the misguided idea that he is to be the transmitter of news of greater import than what is found in the daily press. He sets out to find the message he is destined to convey to the world, starting his quest with a new analysis of class, based on family studies. With the aid of various female acquaintances and contacts in the record business, he also takes a cursory look at the madness of today's media-dominated society - then goes on to pursue his search further still.
