In this novel Kristin Valla tells the story of three young people living in present-day Europe.

And Julianna, who is Norwegian and only needs to get into a car to be travel sick, finds herself shuttling to and fro between Europe's capital cities updating her father's guidebooks.

Turister is a true story, or, if it isn't, it could have been. It is about the real world of today and the young people who inhabit it, use it for their own ends and make it theirs, or so they believe.
