The Price of Love
Storholmen, Ingrid: Til kjærlighetens prisIngrid Storholmen got a lot of attention and many awards for the politically motivated collection Chernobyl Stories (2009). She is known as an experimental writer, and frequently challenges both in form and theme in her books. Now she has written a collection of love poems. The poems move from the first meeting between “I” and her lover – and loosely follow the phases of the affair towards the final break. The poems also have a mythological framework. They are loosely tied into a longer prose dialogue, where amongst others, the Orpheus myth is central.
