Inger Elisabeth Hansen, one of Norway's most respected contemporary poets, here presents her first collection of essays and articles. The texts deal with literature and politcs, from the discovery of the New World, via 11th September in Chile to 9/11 in Norwegian poetry. Hansen writes about Hamsun in El Salvador, about images of the other, about sharing of experience and broken dialogues between Spain, Latin America and Norway in the world.
