Gamma Glimpse

Jensen, Sigmund: Gammaglimt

Nine short stories that bring up situations and conditions in the existence we find ourselves in today, and maybe tomorrow. The first and the last short story are connected to each other and constitute a framework for the whole collection. Here we are in a city environment portrayed as having been ravaged by a civil war or extensive terror, and the desire and the conflicts that we know from our normal, affluent society are shown against a new backdrop. Between these points of reference, we follow different kinds of people with various philosophies of life, which are seldom in harmony, often possessed by contempt, resistance or will to achieve something at the cost of others. But love and care can also reveal itself in sudden and surprising twists.
