It sets out to provide some background information about the different peoples that make up the population of a small country like Norway so as to facilitate an understanding of the relationships between them. The book raises many controversial and complicated subjects, and warns that there is no unambiguous answer to some of the subjects raised. This book does however help readers to define the problem areas and it does so in a clear and well-informed manner.
