Bjørn Sortland nominated for Ministry of Culture’s literary prize for children and young adults 2008.

Sortland has been nominated for his novel about teenage pregnancy, EVERYBODY’S GOT A HUNGRY HEART.

Each year the Norwegian Ministry of Culture awards the best books for children and young adults in a number of categories. The jury reads and evaluates every book published that year. The winner will be announced 20th March.

Sortland’s novel is nominated in the fiction category. The nomination comes only a week after Sortland won the Critics’ Prize for the same novel.
