Dag Solstad nominated to French FEMINA prize
Dag Solstad’s novel SHYNESS AND DIGNITY is nominated to the prestigious FEMINA prize in France. The winner will be announced on November 3rd.
The list of nominees also includes Martin Amis, Dubravka Ugresic and David Lodge.
The Femina prize (Prix Femina) winner is selected by an all-female jury, but the authors do not have to be women. This French literary prize was created in 1904. Previous winners include John M. Coetzee, Ian McEwan and Magda Szabó.
