Schoulgin, Eugene

Eugene Schoulgin (b. 1941) is an author who has published a number of novels and one collection of short stories. He has been nominated to the Nordic Council’s Prize for Literature, and for the last four years, he has been the leader of PEN’s international committee for imprisoned authors. He has visited Afghanistan on several occasions between 1972 and 2003.
