Benestad, Esben Esther Pirelli
Esben Esther Pirelli Benestad is a physician, family therapist and sexologist. he is married to Eva Almås. The couple has represented the sexological envorionment in Norway clinically and scientifically and the heightened awareness of gender issues evident today can be largely put down no their efforts at educating specialists and the public in general over the years. Together they wrote the textbook "Sexology in Practice", published by Tano Aschehoug in 1997.
Esben Esther Pirelli Benestad became a national celebrity in 2002, when his son portrayed him in the documentary "All about my father" (Alt om min far), which won the prestigious Amanda prize for Best Norwegian Film and received wide international acclaim.
