Galtung, Johan

Professor Johan Galtung is both a writer and a peace and conflict researcher. He has held chairs at Colombia University in New York and Santiago in Chile, and has been Director and Head of Research at the International Peace Research Institute in Oslo and Professor of Conflict and Peace Research at the University of Oslo. He is the author of numerous books and articles. He was awarded the Norwegian Brage prize for his book Johan uten land.
