The Heartbreaker

Belinda and her family move into an old, isolated castle on the coast of Scotland. They are looking for peace and quiet for Belinda, who has a serious heart problem. She has just had a defibilator implanted, a mechanical device that gives the heart an electric shock if it stops. Shortly after the family moves in, Belinda finds herself haunted by a voice, and by powerful pains in her chest. The voice says that it needs her – she is his, and he taps her strength. Still, little by little she regains her strength, eventually growing stronger than the voice – it loses all its power over her. But then it turns on Belinda’s little brother, Stephen. Stephen falls seriously ill, causing Belinda to take action. She must kill this creature. Heine T. Bakkeid’s third novel is a real survival horror story.
