Angerhøy

Tusvik, Marit: Angerhøy

In a fjord, furthest in, lies Angerhøy, a small deflowered industrial town where people live their lives stuck between past and future while the rock which is hanging over the fjord is threatening to fall.

For the people in Angerhøy, for the young couple Ulf and Rosita, for us, for the anxiety and desire, for the pain we feel about what is happening, our clinging on to what we have and longing for all the things we think we should get, Marit Tusvik has written this play, dressed it in light and darkness, tears and laughter. A play about how we write our lives with death present in everything.

Angerhøy is the play everybody has been waiting for. It is the play about the sea, death and love. And nothing more!
