Third volume of the SIGRID TRILOGY. After the battle of Stiklestad, where King Olav fell, Kalv Arnesson and Einar Tambarskjelve become enemies, forcing Sigrid and Kalv to flee. After many years King Harald Hardråde (“Harald the Hard Ruler”) makes agrees with Kalv to set their differences aside, but peace doesn’t last long.
