Signs of Love

The narrator and protagonist of this novel is Cecilia, a young printing designer who bears the scars of an unconventional upbringing and chequered lifestyle - until she is involved in a car crash and is saved by a man who is destined to become the love of her life.
Cecilia feels an urge to tell of her love and to link it to the story of her life. Interwoven with her narrative are cameo cut-ins illustrative of the magic of the art of printing.
Signs of Love is a superbly wrought novel, a book packed with powerful and evocative ideas. The many references to, for example, Egyptian myths seem at times to illuminate the text from within. Though undeniably scintillatingly written, this is also a thought-provoking book and testimony to the author"s reverence for his subject.
