Bell

Tusvik, Marit: Bell

Two women relive the intimate relationship they once had. Johanne relates how she experienced the world as a child, about how attached she felt to the 11 year older cousin Bell, and how much it hurt when Bell disappeared. Bell also has a story to reflect on, marked by the fact that she was an orphan and that she constantly had to move. Taken together these two stories offer a portrait of dependence and rejection, lack of love and fear of intimacy.
