Carl Frode Tiller's acclaimed novel ENCIRCLEMENT 2 is nominated to this year's Nordic Council's Prize for Literature. This award, worth 350,000 Danish kroner, is the most prestigious literary prize in the Nordic countries, and previous winners include Per Petterson, Dag Solstad and Jan Kjærstad. The winner is announced April 12 2011.

Per Petterson's latest novel I CURSE THE RIVER OF TIME (Maudit soit le fleuve du temps) is nominated to this year's prestigious Prix Médicis for best translated novel. The winner wil be announced on November 3rd.

Kjersti Annesdatter Skomsvold's literary debut The Faster I Walk, the Smaller I Am has been nominated for the Booksellers' Prize, one of the most prestigious Norwegian literary prizes. Karl Ove Knausgård's My Struggle - First Book is also one of the nominees.
